On 25 August 2026, FK Vardar officially announced the arrival of Siriky Diabaté. The Skopje club presents its new centre-back as a new option for the back line of the “red and blacks”: 23 years old, 1.92 m tall, and determined to establish himself at a big club.
In short · 23 years old · Ivorian · left-footed centre-back · 1.92 m · formerly at Amiens SC, FC Borgo, Botev Plovdiv, Botev Vratsa and Muaither SC
A career path that builds character
Launched in France at Amiens SC and loaned to FC Borgo in the National, Siriky then chose to go abroad. In Bulgaria, he discovered the top flight with Botev Plovdiv, all the way to the qualifying rounds of the Europa League and the Conference League, before a loan spell at Botev Vratsa. Then it was off to Qatar and Muaither SC for the 2025/26 season: a different kind of football, a different climate, a different way of working. All experiences that shape a defender.

Back in Europe, through the front door
Founded in 1947, FK Vardar describes itself as the most successful and most popular club in the country. For a defender looking to get back on the European radar, it is hard to imagine a better springboard: a historic club, passionate fans, and a league where every match counts.
He went far away to learn. He is back in Europe to make his mark.

A deal built on our network
This signing is also a team effort. We completed the deal together with a partner and agent from our network, each bringing their own contacts and expertise. That is exactly what we have stood for since the merger of Xprofoot and NK Elite: more networks, more open doors, all serving one single goal, the player’s career.
What Siriky brings
Left-footed, strong in the air at 1.92 m, used to foreign dressing rooms and already experienced in European matches: Siriky arrives in Skopje with a rare background for his age. At Vardar, he now wants to earn his place and write the next chapter of his career in Europe.
